Qualifications

I graduated from a four-year European Trade School Program in the hotel and culinary field. After fulfilling school obligations, I served in the United States Air Force and upon discharge went to work for Sheraton ITT. My employment with Radisson, Fairfield Resorts, Outrigger Lodging Services, and Holiday Inns, provided me with extensive experience within the hospitality field. My responsibilities in management have encompassed over forty-years of leadership dealing with a large variety and types of hospitality properties. I have expertise in exceeding guest expectations. This inspires and encourages a cohesive workforce where associates possess high attitudes. I keep vigilance on cost controls and achieving outstanding profits for positive financial results and trends.

Education

After finishing high school, I completed a four-year European trade school program in the hotel and culinary field.  (1965) I worked through an apprenticeship program at the hotel zum Riesen “Oldest Hotel and Guesthouse in Germany (four-star property).

I have had many opportunities and so, have taken many courses directly related to hospitality, hotel and resort management and marketing, timeshare and property management, and related real estate courses.

I was initially trained by Sheraton ITT, and then also received franchise instruction through Holiday Inn University and Ramada International in Phoenix.

I had the privilege to work at the direction of many great hoteliers such as Jorgen Viltoft, President of Radisson once Senior Vice President for Marriott also John Norlander, President for Radisson and earlier Vice President and General Manager for the world-class Beverly Hilton Hotel.

I worked through an apprenticeship program at the hotel zum Riesen “Oldest Hotel and Guesthouse in Germany (four-star property).

I have had many opportunities and so, have taken many courses directly related to hospitality, hotel and resort management and marketing, timeshare and property management, and related real estate courses.
